An Air Scrubber is a portable filtration system that removes particles, gasses and/or chemicals from the air within a given area. The air scrubbers draw air in from the surrounding environment and pass it through a series of filters to remove contaminants; the airborne contaminants, such as mold, are trapped inside and filtered through a yellow hose that leads to the outside of the property. This process is called negative air pressurization. As a general rule, a minimum of 6ACH should be achieved. This means that an air scrubber must complete six (6) air changes every hour, or one every 10 minutes.
