Each year on Memorial Day, the floral industry unites in a profound tradition\u2014placing flowers at the gravesites of fallen heroes at\u00a0Arlington National Cemetery<\/strong>. It\u2019s a gesture of remembrance, made possible by the\u00a0Memorial Day Flowers Foundation<\/strong>, that speaks to the heart of what we believe in: honoring life, serving others, and leading with compassion.<\/p>\n

This past Monday, more than\u00a0150,000 fresh flowers<\/strong>\u00a0were hand-placed at Arlington. Volunteers paused at each headstone, read the names, and gently laid a bloom\u2014turning fields of marble into landscapes of gratitude.<\/p>\n

At\u00a0Choice Farms<\/strong>, we\u2019ve supported this initiative for many\u00a0years, and each year, we are reminded of how powerful flowers can be\u2014not just in celebration, but in\u00a0commemoration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Why Memorial Day Flowers Matters<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in 2011, the\u00a0Memorial Day Flowers Foundation<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0began with a mission to place 10,000 roses at Arlington. Since then, it has grown into a nationwide effort\u2014engaging growers, importers, wholesalers, logistics teams, and families across the country.<\/p>\n
