Acknowledgments and Jurats In-Office Service.

Acknowledgment Requirements:
1. The signer must physically appear.
2. The signer must provide a valid form of identification.
3. The signer may sign the document before appearing, or in our presence.
4. The signer must declare (acknowledge) signing the document for its intended purpose.

Jurat Requirements:
1. The signer must appear in person and sign the document in our presence.
2. The signer must provide a valid form of identification.
3. A spoken oath or an affirmation must be administered, and the signer must respond out loud. Silent answers such as a nod of the head are not acceptable.
